How to return a VUMC Laptop to VUMC/NTT Data by creating a Pegasus ticket
All students exiting the MD program for more than 90 days must return their laptop. This includes MSTP students and students who are graduating. In certain limited circumstances, you can petition to have the laptop move with you into VUMC Residency or other temporary employment.
Creating a Pegasus ticket allows you to connect directly with NTT Data, the vendor managing VUMC Laptops.
To complete this successfully you will need the following: Your VUMC ID password
- Your Name and VUMC ID & Password
- Your laptops CI (Computer ID or Configuration Information usually on yellow sticker)
- Your location and contact information
- When finished note the Pegasus ticket number and forward to EDI Support
Once ready to submit
Once ready to submit, use the Pegasus link to ‘Reclaim Devices – Administrative and Clinical Workstations‘. Login using your VUMC ID and password.
Review the submission requirements if you wish and click the green Submit button:
Fill out the form as described below: (note by using your VUMC ID they will contact you via your VUMC email address)
If you are already off campus, choose that option and enter your location information and anything else that is required.
Once you have submitted the form successfully, you should get a message similar to the one shown below; copy the ticket number if desired and click ‘Close’.
You have now set up your request and should be contacted soon about setting up a meeting for return. If you need assistance, please contact the Help Desk at 343-HELP (4357) and refer to your Pegasus Request Number. Make sure to have your computer’s ID which is located on your device on a yellow sticker.
