Students: View Your Experiences Map

The Experiences Map allows students to see the number of experiences they have submitted for each Experience Item and their experience progress within each specialty. Students can then select an Experience Item and view the details of each submitted experience matching that item.

The Experience Map page shows a list of each required Experience Items, along with the number of experiences the student has submitted for the item. Each Experience Item also displays the Specialty and Experience Type details.

Tip:  The Experience Map is best viewed from your computer’s browser and not a mobile device.


 

1. Sort and Filter Experience Map List

The header row of the Experience Map table allows you to sort and filter by columns in the following ways:

  • Experience Item: Start typing the name of an Experience Item to locate and view details for a specific item
  • Specialty: Select the Specialty box to view a dropdown list of the Specialties to choose from. Select one or more to filter
  • Experience Type: Select the Experience Type box to view a dropdown list of the Experience Types to choose from. Select one or more to filter
  • Number Submitted: Select the arrows in the Submitted column to sort the table numerically by the number of experiences submitted


 

2. Select an Experience Item to View Related Submissions

  • Selecting an Experience Item from the Experience Maps page will open a new tab, displaying your Submitted Experiences matching that item

 

3. View Chart of Progress by Specialty

  • The View Specialty Progress (chart) icon in the top right corner of the Experience Map page reveals a bar graph indicating what percentage of required experience you have seen for each specialty
  • Hover over each bar to see the percentage of the experiences you have submitted in that specialty
