The School of Medicine is unique in that you may need to access both University platforms and Medical Center platforms at times. Students will be issued a Vanderbilt.edu email address as well as a vumc.org email address. It is important to note which one you are corresponding with. Vanderbilt.edu email should be used to correspond with academic information, and your vumc.org email address will be used to correspond with any medical center information.
The authentication methods for these accounts will also be different. The University uses Duo Mobile to authenticate, whereas the medical center uses Microsoft authenticator app to authenticate.
