Course Landing Page – Topic Headers

When setting up your course for the first time, you may decide to use Chronological topic headers if students move through the course in a linear manner. The FMK phase has decided on the chronological layout for their courses. The FCC core courses utilize a Categorical topic layout. This layout benefits students that need to access a variety of resources at various points throughout the course. Below you will find both layouts and their naming conventions.

Course Materials:

Course sections should be organized with the use of the following.

  • Consistent fonts and level headers
  • Naming conventions for activity types
  • Indented content
  • Standard activity appearance settings
  • Concise and consistent language
